Meloi's Liquor has been serving the Tri-State area along the Delaware River for over 50 years. Our business has continued to evolve and keep up with the markets and needs of the community.  We pride ourselves on being the one place where you can always find what you are looking for!

The business was started by Rocco and Marie Meloi, in the 1960's, as a "Corner Store" on route 23 and Clove Rd.  They had a small selection of groceries, sandwiches, gasoline, and a license to sell wine, beer, and liquor.  As the local population grew developers decided to build a mini mall less than 1/4 of a mile away on route 23. Marie was determined to move the business to the plaza, and use the license to open a Wine, Liquor, and Beer Store. The mall was able to attract anchor stores such as Shop Rite Supermarkets, Jamesway and TJ Maxx. Meloi's has been a major staple to the community ever since.​

When Marie Meloi decided to retire in 2005 her grandson Andrew Meloi was interested in purchasing the business from her. Andrew and his father, Rocco Jr, had a new vision for the business and shorlty afterwards became the business owners.  They decided to take her 1,200 square foot retail space, double it in size, and create a more upscale, boutique style shop to increase their customer base.  Alex Meloi moved from NYC, where he was a fashion Industry Professional, and was hired to help them achieve their vision.  He used his knowledge of design, and marketing to help transform the store into a space with a high esthetic with a product portfolio to match.  Alex later enrolled at the Sommelier Society of America's certificate course so that he could bring their wine department to a higher level. 

The store has been managed by Andrew and Alex for many years now. Their number one focus is customer service that is attentive, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable!  We are always willing to go the extra mile to help people purchase or locate what they need!
